The most fearless and beautiful girl in the world...

Last night David and I said goodbye to a beautiful and wonderful dog that I had the joy of having in my life for over 15 years. Nala died yesterday of cancer and had a tumor that was just discovered three days ago. The external lumps she had were just fatty tissue but this tumor was internal and near her spine. It had gotten so large it prevented her from walking by the time it was discovered and there was nothing that could be done for her. She was my best buddy, a great guard dog, as wild and playful as could be and my little sweet piece of heaven. Her eyes were especially beautiful and I loved the way she always sat like a lady with her paws crossed. She was by my side wherever I went for the past 15 years and it will take time to get used to her not being there. I know a lot of you loved her too… she is up there now with her sister Spike who we lost 6 months ago and our other dog Chance who we lost before moving to San Francisco. It is no accident that dog spelled backwards is God, they are truly an amazing gift and can teach us so many wonderful lessons about life.... I was especially lucky to have her in my life and I will miss her forever.
