Nickname: Fabs

Fabio was my heart dog. He was an extremely sweet, lovable dog. He loved people and loved to give kisses. He would follow me everywhere. I would turn around and he would be there staring at me. He was the leader of the pack (even though he was smaller than his half brother). He always wanted to be next to me and wasn't willing to share that with his brother. We miss him terribly. A piece of my heart is gone and resting with his soul. I will never forget my little Fabs. We would be at a party (Italian Greyhound Rescue party) and if he wasn't next to me, I could see him in the middle of the yard looking frantically for me. I will never forget him. His half brother Dino still looks for him and cries. It is extremely sad. I really hope there is a Rainbow Bridge where he is young and healthy again and playing with all of his Iggy friends who have gone before him and the ones that have come after him. I like to picture him greeting the Italian Greyhounds at the gate of the Bridge and showing them around. It is a a comforting picture.
