Gatsby, You were always my angel on earth. Happy you did not suffer but flew w/ angels while asleep.

Nickname: Gabito, Juju-bug, Fuzzy-Butt, Juju-bean, Woo-Woo,

I remember how tiny Gatsby was when I picked him up at his wonderful breeder at 6 weeks...from the start I knew I had my hands full but he grew into the most gentle giant there ever was...he could stand a good foot taller than my neighbors baby and let the baby touch him and tug at him, he even gave the baby a toy he dropped one time, when he brought it to the baby Gatsby instinctively knew the baby had less strength so he just gave the toy ever so gently.

Gatsby always knew when I was sick and would not leave my side...always curious about other animals and always loving towards them even if they did not like him. Gatsby LOVED to play in snow, spring flowers, play of any kind specially hide and go seek...even if you hid in the same spot 2 or 3 times he would look elsewhere then get wise to your trick....I love you baby, you are all I truly ever had.

FUNNIEST MOMENT:
Gatsby learned to open the refrigerator door one day after thanksgiving, and as we were out shopping he helped himself to 6 pounds of honey baked ham on the bone from the fridge...leaving no evidence except a wide open fridge door, a stained carpet and no ham....so we had to get a baby door for the kitchen.

SCARED OF:
Fireworks on 4th of July, and Thunder...he always hid inside the tub or shower, he figured it was the safest place to be...as a puppy he could fit under my bed, as he got bigger only his head would fit under my bed but that was good enough...he figured his whole body was covered if his head was covered....I would wrap him in a blanket and sing him a song so that he would feel safe...most times it calmed him down.

HATED:
To get his toe nails clipped.

LOVED (besides food)
Nap time, taking pictures...when a camera would come out he would jump in front or pose...a natural xoxox

Gatsby was very vocal about everything, he would make a (woo-Woo) sound when he wanted something badly or needed to go out, so at times we called him, woo-woo...If I was on my cell and he wanted attention the woo-woo would not stop until the phone was off and all my attention was on him, even if he just wanted a hug or belly rub. There is so much more to say but my heart is breaking right now...Gatsby hope you can hear me in heaven, I LOVE U! Your Momma.

I had to pick an urn for you yesterday angel, I am not ready, I never was for you to pass on...I will keep you with me always. I remember how much I cried when I brought you home at 6 weeks and clutched you in my arms because I knew you were not going to live for ever...I hope you have found all the other doggies to play with, where there is never ending lush green grass, lots of treats and flowers to smell and plenty of places to pee.

Your buddy Chiqui misses you, he will not sleep on his own bed anymore but on the very spot where you slept...the spot where you flew away...

Gatsby I had a small memorial for you at the beach yesterday...I wrote your name in the sand and sent you hearts, I stayed until the waves washed your name away and cried until the ocean took my tears...I will never be the same without you....play, swim, rest, be at peace...you would have loved Hawaii.

June 6, 2012 Had to go away for a bit because of my grief but miss you so much Gabito my angel...words cannot describe how much my heart aches...I know you are happy and I can't be selfish, just know that my heart was always with you...and that I am always here, until the day we meet. I love you!.

June 13, 2012 Days fly by and I do not know where they go, I keep having these recurring dreams where you take me to this beautiful garden to play and I wake and wait for the next time you "invite me to play in my dreams"...I miss you so much but today just when I was feeling my worse I found one of your blonde hairs at the bottom of my purse...I did not feel sad but smiled...I saved it and will have it close to me, I'm sure that is ur sign of letting me know ur alright and happy as you have always been in life...thank you for making me smile my angel! love you!

June 18, 2012 Today marks a month since you got your wings and halo... I thank God for everyday He let you be a part of my life...you made me a better person, showed me what unconditional love on earth is. I love you!
