Max was a part of the family before I was born. He was born on my Uncle's farm because their dog Brownie was Max's mother. After I came along he got jealus because he was no longer my parents only "child" and wasn't getting all the attention. When I was around he either ignored me or nipped at me when I tried to play with him. When I wasn't around however, according to my parents, he acted as if he lost his best friend! My parents told me that he slept outside my room the whole time I was in the hospital after getting surgery when I was a baby. Max always acted like he was so tough but when my parents were living in a Mobile home he discovered a kitten stuck underneath the porch and befriended her and let her eat out of his bowl!
