Sorsha was my best friend for the last 15 years. Today was the hardest thing I have ever done.

Sorsha was a traveler. She had been in every state in the western U.S. and Canada. But, she always called Colorado home. She loved to play with the ball, chasing it, or anything else that was thrown.

She was the best watch dog there ever was. Sorsha would run at the door barking her head off when somebody came by. Strangers thought she was gonna eat them. However, she never hurt anything, she was just saying hello, announcing her presence.

Sorsha loved to fish. She rarely caught anything as she would run through the stream, and then lay down in it. She loved walks, cats, people, and hated baths.

As Sorsha got older, she was diagnosed with epilepsy at 8, urinary incontinance at 9, thyroid deficiency at 11, had to have a toe cut off at 12. She never lost her zest for life despite all this.

She has left a hole in the hearts of her family that can never be filled.
