Bandit was an amazing dog that made our lives so special. We found him as a stray back in 1997 in a grocery store parking lot. it was pouring rain that day and he looked really hungry. My husband and I were coming home from a favorite Chinese restaurant and had some take-out food in the car and offered him a piece of beef from one of the entrees. He gobbled it right up and came home with us in the car. We gave him a bath and he made himself right at home. The vet estimated him to be about a year and a half back then.

Through the years he came with us to the beach, to the mountains, and a road trip across country! He was the only dog I've ever had that absolutely loved the rain. I used to take him running with me especially on rainy days when he was younger and he loved his baths and going swimming. He also loved other dogs, people and the dog park! He was so good to our family.. He was always by our side and we were beside his, even until his last breath here at home as my daughter and I held him. The day after he passed it rained and it made us think of him. Thank you Bandit for being such a beautiful part of our lives for almost 16 of your 18 years. We miss you and think of you all the time. We love you so much. Hope you're running and playing in Doggy Heaven.
