15 years ago i walked past a pet shop whilst on a weekend break in Blackpool and i saw you for sale through the window sat in a cage. I went inside and knew i was taking you home. I went to a newsagents over the road and got an empty crisp box to take you home in on the coach. You met our Cassie and you 2 became sisters for many years. I have 15 years of so many memories with you, and even as you got to your senior years, i did everything to make our home safe for you and keep you from pain. Until early this morning you were telling me you've had enough and are ready to go to Rainbow Bridge to be with Cassie. I listened to you and did the one last act of kindness i could for you even though it was going to rip my heart to pieces i knew i had to do this for you and i held you in my arms as you slipped peacefully away. I've kept hold of your little blue animal blanket since i got home tonight n keep resting my head on it. Im getting your shelf ready next to Cassie's for when you come back home in your casket. I loved you so so much Bonnie and you knew this and i always will, and you have took a piece of my heart with you. There's always going to be part of me missing without you and Cassie here. But run free babies and free from pain, till we meet again, from your loving mum xxxx
