Roscoe came to me as a senior. He was bounced out of a kill shelter by a wonderful rescuer who would care for him while he had heartworm treatment. He had an arduous journey to the north after this and spent a couple of tough weeks in foster homes.. I saw him on the rescue page and told them just send me this boy, I will heal his heart. We had some difficult hurdles to jump as I had other pets who did not take to him but I made a promise that I would keep him forever.. It took time but Roscoe adjusted, he loved his life here, he loved the run of the house, his bones his walks, but mostly he loved me.. he became my best buddy. He stole my soul and he took a piece of it when he left me .. I will always love Roscoe, my big strong bully doggy.. I miss him every day I live without him.. I miss him thumping up and down the halls like the general he was.. I miss his silly antics when he would barrel through furniture and carry it on his back if he had to.. he was a precious and sweet soul who loved me from the start. I was the one he most bonded to and he was my shadow.. We spent many a fun walk along the beach where neighbors would give him treats and tell him how handsome he was.. he was a good boy, a great doggy, and my best friend.. I love you Roscoe with all my heart.. you are one of a kind and I pray one day you will find your way back to me..I pray our soul connections will help you find a path back me one day..
