Maggie was my girly girl, tail wagging 1,000 x's a minute girl!

Nickname: Maggie Mae, Maggers, Girly Girl, Maggs

Maggie Girl came to us at 12 weeks old in May of 2002. She was a great little puppy, easy to train and loved to snuggle into your shoulder to sleep. Always wanted to be with you and that tail never stopped wagging. She was with me through my different adventures in life and always had a shoulder to cry on.
She accepted everyone who came into the house in her 13 1/2 years of life, dogs, cats, humans.. it didn't matter.. she loved everyone.
She was fast and agile in her younger years, from running off docks, catching balls in the air, jumping into your arms or walking the peremiter of the above ground pool. She missed her calling, I am sure she would of won the "running and jumping off the dock into the pool after the ball" competition with top dogs.. lol
She was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis approx two years before we let her run for the Bridge. She had an accident in September 2014 and we thought we would lose her then, but no. She was not ready..
She got a little slower in her later years, but that didn't stop her from wanting to go with you for a walk. She LOOOOOVED her walks... and that tailed wagged constantly.
Her eyesight got a little cloudy and you had to watch when giving her a milkbone... sometimes she couldn't tell the difference from treat or finger. lol
Unfortunately, during the day of Sept 22nd, she had a stroke.. and she could not walk, but her tailed could still wag.... we snuggled with her through the night and loved her up... and let her run free the next morning. She is missed terribly... every single day...
There will never be another like her.... and she is always in my heart... yet I wish she was still in my arms.. *sigh*
