I'm heartbroken to say, my sweet Penny Lane has lost her fight. She tried so hard, but was tired. She was my baby. My little buddy. My constant companion, my shadow. Our souls knew each other so well, I believe she passed at night so she wouldn't have to let me see her go or make a horrible decision to let her go. I'll miss her snuggles, our walks, our Hallmark Channel movie watching, our bedtime ritual, her ears, her nose, her little swirly butt, her happy little walk, the way she was so happy to see me when I walked in the door. The way she would wait for a bite of cheese when Donnie was cooking on the grill, the way she would scratch on the fridge and look at me for carrot time. She has taken such a big piece of my heart it's hard to believe I will ever be okay without her in my life. Words cannot express how much happiness this little dog brought into my life and how crushing it is to see her gone. Our house is empty without her little paws walking on the kitchen floor. Her basket of toys sits with no one to play with them. Her beds all over the house sit empty. Our hearts are broken without you Penny girl. Please know that Mommy and Daddy love you and miss you every second of every day. Please be happy and free and look for Mommom. She will take care of you until we meet again. I love you. xoxoxox 🦋
