Our little Traviesa... no one quite remembers when she came into our lives, but we know we will never forget her.

Traviesa came into our liives when Dad brought her home because someone said they had found her wandering around but they already had a dog and couldn't keep her. When dad got home he called mom outside and said he had a surprise for her. When she looked into the truck there was a tiny ball of fur.

Mom wasn't quite fond of pets as she usually had to clean up after them while us kids just played with them. However, Traviesa was special and they quickly became best friends.

When we first brought Traviesa into the house she was so different than any dog we had ever had. She wasn't shy or timid. She strutted around the house to check out her new home and quickly let us know this was HER house :)

She often got out of the yard without us knowing and we would only find out when we opened the front door and she would be smiling up at us. One particular time she got out and we went to find her. When we called for her she took off like a rocket toward the house. When we arrived (because she beat us there lol) she was in the backyard again pretending she had never left, only she forgot to hide the evidence of her adventure...she had brought home a taco she had found at a local construction site :)

She was a mischievous little lady that found our family and gave us a gift by sharing her life and her playful spirit with us. We all felt a little more alive when spending time with our littlest family member.

We love her, miss her, and will never forget you Traviesa. Our pretty girl.
