Thank you
Thanks for posting Mags memorial. I am going through the pain of losing my girl Muffin to cancer. I can relate to losing someone so close to something you can't do anything about. Mags is adorable. Muff also had a number of nicknames I couldn't fit :)

So Sorry For Your Loss
What a beautiful girl. We're all so lucky to know that kind of Love. The kind that comes from our furry friends. Maybe Magnolia has found Roxy, our little Bully. We lost her in May.They can run in circles together... Hang In There. You're in Our Thoughts

We will know no other dog with so much love to give. We love and miss you Bubbie.
Nickname: Maggie, Mags, Magpie, Magnut, Nutty, Nutball......
Nicknames continued...Magnolia had so many nicknames that they would not fit above! Here are the rest: Maggie, Mags, Magpie, Magnut, Nutty, Nutball, Nutty Butty, Nutbutt, Bubby, Bubs, Hubba Bubba, Hubbie Bubbie, and the Brown Bullet.
We knew the end was not going to be a long way away when Maggie started having bad seizures in March. The vet thought that she had a brain tumor. We tried several medications but the side effects were almost worse than the seizures. Every now and then we could tell she was a little confused and not her normal self. Her back legs started giving out and she would sometimes just randomly fall on the floor, legs splayed out, and not be able to get up again. In the mornings and after naps she often needed help getting to a standing position to jumpstart her activity. Once she was up, she would pace and pace and pace, and pant and pant and pant. Then she started losing control of her bladder due to the constant thirst from the medicine. However, despite all of these issues, she was still happy most of the time. She was still the old Nutball, following me around like a shadow, always in my way and wanting to please me. I'm not sure that I deserved that much love from her, but I hope so.
What a loyal and loving dog you were Maggie. When you were a puppy I found an anonymous quote that sums it up: He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. I pray that we were worthy of your devotion.
I miss your snoring and your grunting. I miss you greeting me at the door every time I come home, and making excited noises. I miss it when you would get all hyped up and run the Indy 500 around the dining room table. It was especially funny when Beau would try to join in, but he could never keep up with you- he would just eventually give up and stand there and bark as you raced by. You were so athletic and svelte! Along with the rest of us, Beau is also going to miss you terribly. You were his favorite dog bed companion- even though he sometimes had to get up and move because you cuddled in so close! And Toby will not be able to rub up against you and get his tail in your face anymore- you tried to pretend you didn't like it when he paid you attention, but we all know you loved him very much. Beau and Toby will keep each other company in your absence.
I hope Rogan will remember you, but he is probably too young. You were such a good doggie mama when we brought Rogan and Tiegan home from the hospital. So gentle, loving and curious. We will always keep your pictures nearby and remember what a truly wonderful dog you were for all of your ten years with us. I hope doggy heaven is real, and you are up there running and playing and dragging your little heart out. And eating lots of naughty people food and treats and drinking fresh stream water. I hope there is a pond for you to wade in and get all dirty, and a big Ford truck for you to scratch your back on and get all oily. I hope there are plenty of dogs to play with, and especially a dog like Beau who you can cuddle with until he joins you. I hope there are plenty of people with you to tell you what a good dog you are and to pet you endlessly until we get there and can take over.
