My little dog's passing has caused me days of crying and just when I think I will be okay, I come across something that reminds me of her. Last night while cleaning I found her ball under the couch. The sight of it caused unexpected emotion that I was not prepared for. I know that it will get better but I also know that until it does, I will continue to have these random emotional outbursts. I miss so many things about her that I took for granted. How she would greet me jumping as high as she could when I would get home. I have a job where I was able to take her with me to work and I came in and seen her little bed there, empty. That was a heartbreaker too. The other dogs that she played with know too I think. They are acting very sad and somber. She was loved by so many and will be missed for a long time. I see so many memories that replay over and over again in my mind. I can only hope that this gets better soon. A heartbreak is the worst pain there is.
