The sweetest face ever, Tiajuana you brought us all joy and we all miss you sooooo much!!!

Nickname: Tia, TT girl, Ice T, Sweet T, Sugar T, Princes T

Tiajuana was given to Faye (Jack's mom) by Jack's dad, Shag. Faye loved her and the feeling was mutual.... After Faye went to Heaven, she became Shag's baby girl..... Shag had to go into Assisted Living so Jack and I (Linda) took her in as our FOSTER DAUGHTER...Dagger, our dachsund, loved being her friend and they often slept side by side..... Tiajuana definitely lived a long life, although we can't remember exactly what year she was originally adopted by Faye and Shag.....At that time, she was already an adult.... She really didn't play with toys....I tried to play ball with her like Dagger does....but she wasn't interested....She just liked being with everyone.... She enjoyed the many different bed dogs and blankets we had...she snuggled up in 'em and LOVED to sleep :) She always joined us in the FAMILY BED and slept close to me or Jack....or often Dagger, too. She had to go up the little steps I put for her by the couch in the den.....She coudln't jump up onto beds or furniture by herself.... She was so cute going up the big ramp Jack built at the end of the bed...She had to do kind of a "practice run"...moving her legs back and forth....thinking about it over and over before she'd finally run up the ramp.... I was her CHEERLEADER: Come on Tia, you can do it.....come on up.....up up up....you can do it TT, come on girl.....she'd kinda give me a doggy grin :) and come running up to join us for bed.... We miss her so much and I still can't believe she is gone.... The last week of her life, we found out she had a tumor.....before it was fully diagnosed and treated, her condition worsened very quickly....luckily I took her that Monday to see Shag...She died on Friday, May 14, 2010. We decided not to tell Shag unless he asks specifically....he loved her so much and he has lost so much.... He has pictures of her and he seems happy without knowing.... so, for now, he doesn't know.... The rest of us know and we have grieved and continue to grieve....I still miss her almost every day..... I can tell Dagger looks around sometimes...and he'll go lay where she used to lay.....and I just feel it....he misses our TIA girl.... We will be with you again, someday soon, Tia..... keep Mama Faye company and be happy.....WE LOVE YOU......
