Mr Maxwell RIP

Nickname: Max, Baby, Brother

I dont know what happened I thought Max was after the candy canes on the Christmas tree that he was lying under . I said "damn it max", here he was having a seizure, i did not know what was happenign i screamed, max, please, dont leave me. then he paced around all hyper like. I asked on facebook, i was so scared, about dogs and seizures, 3-4 different people that have dogs and seizures, seemed common, just hold him till it ends. ihe had seizures all night long, around 2 am i think he had a stroke, then his legs gave out, he came flying down the steps like on a surfboard, i couldnt handle it, i cried. my son held him , told him to stop trying to walk, max had tears in his eyes,my son kept saying dont look at his eyes, i feel so ashamed, i did not want to loose him but i couldnt take looking at him like this, i feel like a failure. I gave him benedryl, hoping he would go to sleep. the vet opened at 9 am, it snowed here during the night, me and my son set off at 830 am to take him to the vet he knew. They offered to do blood work i asked will this stop his seizures, make him walk again, end the pain ? she shook her head no. my son said miom it is time to let him go, maxwell laid so still on the table, told him to go to the big buffet table, no more fit n trim, my daughter came, we all cried, after 12 years and 8 months just so unexpected, my God, it hurts !!!
