Nickname: Baby boy, BoBo

We got Bo and his brother, Jack in Dec 1997! We fell in love instantly!! You would never know by looking at Bo in his older age, but he was the runt of the litter! He looked like a little teddy bear with his soft brown fur, but he was fiesty!! He loved to run and chase everything! He was the toughest puppy who could give the best kisses! Jack & Bo were the best of friends and gave us 11.5 years of joy! In June 2009, Bo lost his best friend and brother Jack to bloat and he was an only puppy for the first time in his life! I know Bo missed Jack but I think he liked receiving all the attention! For the next year and a half Bo traveled with his mommy & daddy and went for runs and four wheeler riding! He was such a happy puppy. In Nov 2010, Bo turned 13 years old and celebrated by refusing to eat dog food. He went from 89 lbs to 69 lbs. The vet said feed him whatever he would eat, so he received a hand fed diet of chicken & rice, vegetable soup, bologne sandwiches, hot dogs, ham, and of course his favorite, Milk Bones!! Bo gained weight and was sleeping a lot more in his old age! One day in Jan 2011 Bo was outside by himself and was unable to get up on his own, and scraped his shoulder, elbow and paws, this made his mommy & daddy very sad and he was not left alone ever again. Bo got to where he was not able to stand up without help and he was having trouble walking, we knew it was time for Bo to go be with his broither. So, on Monday, January 24, 2011 Bo was euthanized...........he was given the medicine, he looked up at his mommy & daddy as to say he loved us and thanks for such a good life, he took a big yawn and went to sleep!
We love you baby boy and we are so happy you are in puppy heaven running, playing and wrestling with your brother, Jack!
