We got Dakota from a friend whose dog had a litter of 8 puppies. My husband had first pick. The breeder's little girl named him because she thought she could keep him. He had very expressive, deep brown eyes. Loved his pig ears & homemade dog biscuits. He was eager to walk even just before he died, a feat his vet was amazed he could still do, due to the condition of his spine & hips. I think he still did it because he thought it was something I instead needed & that he was doing it for me. We still think of him EVERY day & always will.
