Sara was my life! My whole world!

Nickname: Sweet Pea - The Babies

I had lost my male Pug and I was heart broken and I prayed for 2 years that God would have a Pug come down the street because I could not afford a new dog. Then one day I was sitting in our Florida Room and something told me to pick up the newspaper and read the pet section and I never, ever read the paper and then I put the paper down and something told me to pick it back up and read the lost and found and I did and there was a female Pug found and I called and they said that I could not see her for 48 hours and I hung the phone up and something said to go ther and I did and they told me that I could not see her and I noticed that the dog enforcement woman was there and I told them to ask her if I could see the pug and so they did and came back out and said, she said that you are okay and they brought her out and she was scared so bad and I held her, kissed her and told her that I would be back. I filled the paper work out and I called the next day and they said that they were sorry but that the owner was coming and so I felt so bad and then thought, if it was meant to be, that God would have given her to me and so I ran some errands with my Mother and when I came home, there was a message on the answering machine to come and pick my Pug up. I ran right up and she was so happy to see me. When I brought her home, I let her down in the yard and from that moment on she followed me everywhere and I mean everywhere. She would sit in my chair and stare at the door until I got home. I cannot express how much I love her. She was my life! We spent every moment together. I am disabled and so we hung out all the time. I gave her the best of everything! When she got sick, I spent a lot of time and money trying to save her life. It has been a year and a half and I still cry everyday. My heart broke when she died and I know a part of me died with her. I never knew I could love something so much! There is no one that would love me or die for me like she would! She loved me no matter what. No matter if I
looked bad, no matter what I said or what I did. My Vet said to me that he has never seen a
connection between a dog and there owner before. That was the nicest thing anyone has
ever said to me. As sad and horrible as it was, she passed away in my arms. Right where
she belonged. It hurts so, so bad. I don't know how to live without her! I would truly give anything to have her back. We have had 6 dogs and they all were very special but Sara was the ultimate!
