Morgan came to live with me when he was 2. He was the best dog you could ever ask for. He developed skin allergies for which he had to have weekly shots. And later, when he was about 12, he started slowing down due to arthritis in his hips. It was sad to see him go downhill but he still had a good quality of life until recently. I could not bear to watch him suffer and so the decision had to be made to end his life gently. There is a big hole in my heart that can never be replaced. Morgan idolized my son and would always perk up whenever Chris came around. Morgan loved to play ball and eat Hostess donettes. He ate deer food because of his allergies and we had a lot of good laughs about Morgan out hunting deer for his supper! He would have turned 15 in May. He is missed so much.
