A Hound Dog turned Princess

Nickname: Cherry Bug

Cherry was more than a dog. She was a best friend.

Until Cherry, I had never seen nor heard of a Blue Tick Hound. She was specked puppy greatness.

Cherry appreciated a good nap like none else. You'd never see her sleeping on a hard floor, but always the couch or a bed. She lived a cozy life, which was much deserved by her.

She avoided getting into trouble with her eyes and wagging tail, and she was always ready and willing to give a paw shake.

Everyone that knew Cherry loved her. She was my family mascot, of sorts.

Unfortunately we lost her due to a kidney illness. I know that we gave her the best, most comfortable life imaginable to a dog, and that she knew how loved she was.

We'll never forget Cherry, and in my mind she will always be the best dog that I have ever had.

We love you, Cherry. Thanks for being our best friend!
