Cody joined our family when he was only 3 months old. We already had our little girl Brandy, and when her little brother Cody, joined us, our family was complete! Cody was the most perfect little boy, he never got in any trouble and he was always happy.
He was such a brave boy too, he had some medical problems growing up but he always kept a brave face and never let anything get him down. He knew how loved he was and that everything we did for him throughout his life, was all done because we loved him.
We have so many great memories, him running and playing in the yard with his daddy, mommy and sister. At Christmas time, he always loved to open his presents. He couldn't wait....he would tear open the wrapping paper on his gifts and his sisters gifts. Brandy used to watch Cody open all the gifts then they would play with the new toys together and eat all the treats.
On March 2, 2011, Cody was diagnosed with cancer, only 5 months after our Brandy was diagnosed with cancer as well. Cody stayed so brave, we think he tried to be brave for us and his sister because he knew what we were going through already. Cody had 3 rounds of Chemo therapy, and was doing great, until on April 29th, he took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately, this morning, May 1st, we had to make the most difficult decision in the world, to say good-bye to our beloved boy. I think his sister Brandy is greiving as much as mommy and daddy.
I don't know how to cope.....this is the most unbearable pain in my heart that I have ever felt!
We will LOVE Cody forever and we miss him greatly!!! Good-bye my little boy...Mommy, Daddy and Brandy love you!!!
