There is not a day that goes by when Cyrus is not on my mind..He will be in my heart forever..

Nickname: Bubu, Handsome Boy

Cyrus & I spent the first 11 months of his life living in the Bahamas - he was born there..From the 1st moment I saw him in the pet shop I knew he was the one coming home with me..he stuck his paw out of the cage and instantly the beautiful bond we shared for 16 years was born... :)

He was a very very lucky boy from the beginning of his wonderful life...he got to go on weekend breaks to see his girlfriend Scooby ..they just loved running up and down the beach. Cyrus used to go nuts when Scooby used to dig a huge hiole in the sand looking for crabs ..Scooby was older than Cyrus but she was very loving & patient with Cyrus and his puppy antics...One of their favourite pass times was standing at the front of a speedboat going fast with the wind blowing through their fur...They just loved it...:)

He learnt quite a few things from Scooby one of the most important being how to pose cute for cheese...Scooby used to move her bottom to the side and tilt her head when cheese was mentioned and Cyrus was very quick to do the same ...:)

One of his other favourite treats while in the Bahamas was going to the drive through for chicken nuggets especially for him ....:)

When we came back to Malta Cyrus was just as pampered and loved and was always the centre of attention with many but especially my parents who treated Cyrus like he was their child too..:) He loved his walkies and would go nuts jumping and turning round when he knew it was time for one of his daily walks...:) which my parents or I took him on...

He loved the beach and would take great pleasure in running up and down the beach and also over people's towels much to their bemusement ......but all they could do was smile diplomatically...:)

He wasn t sure about bath time but we used to carry him and get him into the bath, where he would sit quietly until we washed him.. however he always got his cute payback by shaking and drenching everyone who was near him and then running off and filling the house with paw prints...:):)

He loved Christmas time too as he always had his pile of presents underneath the tree..sometimes he used to pinch them before Christmas day as he used to have a habit of going to sniff around the tree and low and behold he found his pressies....My mum had found some many chewbones hidden underneath the cushions on the chairs and sofas...and my dad found quite a few while gardening ....:)

Sweet Cyrus is gone, he'll not come back, but deep inside you know
That he'll remain a part of you, wherever you may go.
You'll hear him bark, look in his eyes,
Remember all the fun,
For though you two had seperate hearts, they truly beat as one.
And though He's gone, he's not alone,
He's full of joy and pride,
That he can play eternally, with Scooby by his side.

I think I could write a whole book about our darling Cyrus and his adventures...so I will stop here...:):)

Cyrus is missed terribly every single day and not a day passes when Cyrus is not thought of or mentioned ...He will remain in our hearts forever and is now affectionately know as Cyrus Spirit Bear as we know he is still around ..:):):)
