Dear Cooter,
You came into our life August 27, 2006. We got you from Bev at Sunnyside Kennel in Lucasville OH. You were whining so you drank green tea on the way home and then fell asleep. You became the king of the house. Cisco was your big sister and she was the a great ball player. She taught you how to play ball. Your first trip was to Grandma and Papaw Johnsons in Rabbithash. You hopped around the yard chasing Cisco and then slept in grandmas lap. As you grew older, you chewed up your Aunt Jen. She did not think you liked her but she just would not make you mind. She took you to dog school and you barked the whole time while waiting for class and then slept in class. You rode in mommys truck and went to Uncle Freds and Aunt Karla. They loved you so much too. Aunt Karla would yell Cooter Ray Cooter Ray Cooter Ray and you would fly to her. She always had treats for you. She always laid something on the ground so you would be comfortable. You went everywhere with mom. Mom bought a farm so you would have a great place to run that was safe. You went to "Its a dog world day care" so you could get use to other dogs and would be able to play while mommy and aunt jen worked. You could not wait to get out of the truck to go in. They loved you too. Finally we moved to the farm and you could romp and play. you loved to ride on the tractor with mommy. It made her feel so special because you would do that. You also loved to ride in the kubota. In the spring, you would tear up the house following mommy around to watch her mow the yard until she let you go with her. It became our thing. You rode at my feet and I loved it. Cooter, I loved you so much. I loved this summer how you would sit on the dock and watch me float, like you were my guardian angel. You would drop the ball to me so I could throw it and you would swim get it and drop it back off the dock. I loved doing anything with you. I loved taking you to tractor supply and Lowes. If I was looking at something you would just lay down. Everyone loved you and wanted to know what kind of dog you were. My heart is so broke and I am going to try and write down everything I can about you so I never forget. Your ashes will be with me some day and I look forward to seeing you again in heaven. I have been so blessed to have you and I know God protected me by taking you this way. You never suffered, you were not sick and I am thankful for the time we have had together. Good night my friend.
