Since you came into my life a happiness occurred. You helped me cope when Chiquita (my first dog 2001) died in my arms without you knowing it. Your personality always shined bright especially at Christmas time. This year will be tough but I know you'll be there waiting like every year. I'll have your stocking filled like you loved and empty each toy out one by one slow enough for you to see what comes next. Then picture you sitting there sticking you head in the stocking to make sure nothing was forgotten :-) But first comes Halloween and with your costumes out right by the door I'll keep them so you can still see the children come up to the door. Over time I know my heart will heal but for now all I can say and feel is heart ache and pain for not saying good bye to you in time. You will always be my little boy and have a huge piece of my heart my little Peanut Butter Cup.
Our first holidays without you have come and gone.I kept picturing you appear from every corner and under the table. It was so lonely without :-(
I know time will help heal the pain but I can't help it and feel empty without you here.
A year has now past and so much has changed. You would have loved the baby and protected her her the way you did when my god daughter would visit. Always the sweet dog but the fierce protector as well. Love and miss you xoxo
