Buffy was the sweetest doggy in the whole wide world. We love you as much as you loved your treats!

Nickname: Buff Puff, Puffy Buffy, Little Girl, Poo Poo Face

Buffy and I were a perfect fit from day one. I found her at a rescue and couldn't go home without her. She fit into my life as if we were meant to be together. I never had a dog before so I worried about how it would be once she got home. But she was so easy going and loving and sweet, there was no transition period. Her main obsession was food! She could never get enough of it. Always getting herself into trouble, eating whatever she could get a hold of. She was a very protective little girl, all 7-8 pounds of her! Barking at whomever would come our way, or warning people who dared to knock on our door. She was always shadowing me, wanting to be near me at all times. She never bit or grew aggressive towards others. Her disposition is what won my husband over, who initially wasn't too crazy about having a dog in the house. He soon came to love her because you could do anything with her, and she would just go along for the ride. He loved playing air guitar and the drums w/ her, doing "Cirque Du Soleil" tricks, and throwing her up in the air. She never once complained. Even when she started getting sick. It was heartbreaking to see her slowly lose her strength in her hind legs, and having to pick her up everytime she needed to walk. She always kept her dignity and never let it get the best of her. I will always love and remember you. I wish you would have been able to see your baby sister this Christmas. You will always be my first little girl. I hope you are up in doggy heaven eating ALL the treats your loving heart desires! Having you has been the best 8 years of my life. You were my rescue dog, but YOU rescued me! I love you always.
