we acquired my dog hondo from an indian man,gave us the dog because he had another shepherd and could not keep him.his name means friend. that he was truly mans best friend.he was a black shepherd.he was also purebreed.we recently lost hondo from a massive stroke which devasted my husband and i. he touched many lives and will certainly be missed. i will always remember him greeting me at the door for a cookie and giving me a kiss.
