I have so many memories of my life with Oscar that I don't know where to begin. So I guess that I'll start at the beginning and add things over time. Oscar was a Christmas gift to me in 2001. He was 8 weeks old, 4 pounds of cute little puppy. He was a nervous little guy, when he was presented to me by my boyfriend, he was put into my arms and immediately peed on my shirt. I didn't care. He was the cutest and sweetest thing I'd ever seen. It was love at first sight. As he grew older, he became very confident and had quite a big personality for such a small dog. He was always so excited to see me come home from work, school, whatever, that he couldn't contain himself. He'd run up to me, lay down and roll over (all while wiggling like crazy) and wait for a belly rub. As soon as you would go in to rub his belly, he got so excited that he would shoot out little squirts of pee. (That's where he got one nickname ;) ) We had one other dog when Oscar came into the house, but he quickly took it over. We even rescued a pit puppy when Oscar was about 2, and he dominated the pit as well. In the long run, they became the best of friends, Oscar and Buster were inseparable. Oscar was extremely loyal and I was lucky enough to be the one he chose too devote himself to.
