I'll never really be able to move on.... you were such a big part of my life. Im sorry i took all of those times of coming home from school and you looking over from the couch waiting for your belly rub for granted. I had you since you were seven... i was eight years old and you came from a family who wasn't treating you like the angel you were. You quickly became the center of our family and our love. I still remember how you got your nickname... you would run outside and chase the birds no-matter how far they were. You would always sleep next to me, and its so hard to look into my bed and not see you there. I will never forget the last time i saw you.. i told you i love you at least a million times... i never really wanted to leave but i had to try and get my mind off of how much pain you were in.... i told you to be strong and left. Later when i found out you had been put to sleep i just couldn't help but remember my last words to you.. be strong.. i will never forget them.. and i will never forget you.
