Nickname: Ma's Babe

To My Sasha... Queen of Our Hearts,

From the moment we met you, shortly after your 4th birthday, we knew you were "the-1" for us and that our family would now be complete. You brought much joy, laughter, companionship, and loyalty to our two person family that we can never thank you enough. You were such a blessing in our lives, as well as to family, friends and neighbors and we thank God for sharing you with us for the short 6 1/2 years that you were here.
I pray that you were happy with us too. I'll never forget each and every minute we spent together. There is now such an emptiness and I feel like a part of me is missing. Nothing feels the same. I long to see your face at the large picture window, saying goodbye as I leave for my workday and again to eagerly greet me when I return home. Now, when Daddy came home everyday you knew the first thing he did was to give me a kiss and say, "Honey, I'm home" which was your cue to jump in front of me to get Dad's attention first. There is nothing so pure as a dog's greeting: it is the definition of honesty. I miss our games of fetch, riding in the car together, hearing you snore when you sleep, oh and to feel that huge heavy tail of yours slap my leg and everything else that may have ventured the path of your greetings or if a door in the house was closed with me on the other side you would just bust it open with such force as to say, "I need to see and protect you Mamma at all times". Speaking of protection I am tickled by the memory of the time, when your tried to rescue me and the rest of the family from our store purchased fireworks by running after one and tossing it aside...that was scary. I even think the mail carrier and UPS carriers miss your leave my property or else, man barks, but most of all I miss touching, and loving you. I just miss you so much that it hurts more than words can ever say BUT I do believe that you are in Heaven with Jesus and that one day We Will See U' Again!!!
