We have always thought of Mr. Friendly as a dog trapped in a cat's body. He is the friendliest, most charming cat we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was the neighborhood stray for years before we took him in later in life. He had feline Aids and was sickly throughout most of his life. However, he never lost his sense of joy and happiness in savoring all that was good in his life. He loved his life, and he hung on for as long as he could (i think because he knew how much we loved him). He's free now, hanging out with all the big dogs in doggy heaven. Joann is introducing him to everyone, I'm sure. We will forever treasure the time we had with Mr. Friendly.
