We were very blessed to have Mitzi in our lives. She was a wonderful dog.

Nickname: Gramma, Ol Girl

Mitzi was a Christmas dog! She was born in South Africa and was found in a little hole in the wall furniture store along w/ 6 little kittens. Her previous owners rescued her at 6 weeks of age for $10! Since then, she touched us all with love and joy!

We got Mitzi a few years ago from some friends who moved far away. We knew she wouldn't be with us for a long time, but we knew we would be very lucky to have her for any amount of time. She was a very good and loving dog. She was very good natured. Her favorite thing to do was follow mom around the house. She loved table food and my husband would always give in and give her a "treat" even though he shouldn't! She loved dinner time! She also loved the weekends when mom would fix bacon and eggs and she would get a little mixed in with her dog food. :) She also enjoyed taking a short walk to the mailboxes and sometimes we'd go to the greenbelt about 1 block away.
She would greet us with a little grin when we'd get home from work. I always looked forward to that little grin!
