At first I didn't know what to expect. I came from a house hold that always had little dogs. But once we said our "I Do" I became step mommy to an amazing furry baby girl. Mariah was more then just a dog to us, she was our little girl, our companion, our confidant, and protector. In each role she always excelled and continued to until her last day with us.
She knew exactly when to appear in the room when we were alone. She knew to grab a toy to lighten our mood and even in recent months she knew to protect our house even more because of her little baby sister. Even though Layla is too little to remember how extra special you were I promised you I would never let her forget and I never will.
I will never forget every moment I spent with you as a family or one on one. each memory I will always hold dear in my heart and as vidid the day it happened. You were there for me when my little boy peanut passed away a year ago to help me get through all the pain I just wish i didn't have to say good bye to you as well. I will carry you in my heart till the day we meet again. I love you so much Mariah and wish you were still by my side. I know its a selfish thought since you were in pain and you are now pain free but I just miss you so much =-(
Its almost 2 months since we had to say good bye and I just miss you more and more each day. I know its normal to feel this way but I just wish you could still be by my side as Layla starts to grow and do all the little things babies do. You loved her so much and wish you were with us to experience everything. You will forever be in my heart and on my mind xoxo
First holiday season without and i cant help but feel such a hole in my heart. You knew exactly when I needed you the most and all I long for is to feel you near and give you a hug to help all the negative go away. You were not only my treasured little girl but my confidant and my best friend. With each day that passes I say a little prayer that I hope you hear. Mommy and Baby miss you and love you so much always and forever.
