Tonight, my baby has decided to go to doggy heaven. In his great wisdom, he knew he had to help his mummy to take the decision to put him down. When you own many dogs, they say there is always one that you will form a special bond with; Darwin was that dog. He was my first pug and the greatest love of my life. I got this 3 months old little ball of fur after a difficult period in my life. He was the cutest thing in the world and he made me discover how much I could feel love for another living being. Live has not being easy for Darwin. He was sick a lot (pancreatitis, allergies, cancer, periodontal disease, infection, arthritis, dementia..) and the disk hernia he got when he was young must have been very painful for him. Although my heart is broken I’m relief that he is with his 2 brother in doggy heaven and he can now run and eat bones like he used to. I love you and I always will.
