The love we have for Fonzi is immeasurable because of the amount of endless love, joy, happiness, and laughs he brought into our family. Our hearts are forever broken with the loss of our baby brother, son, and best friend. He was and always will be the absolute LOVE OF OUR LIVES. If we caught all the tears we have cried since we lost you, it would make an ocean Fonz Man. I hope you know how truly loved you were and I sincerely hope that you know how much pure joy you brought to our lives. The memories are countless and even though everyone says time heals everything, we wish we could create many more memories and share more laughs over all your quirky ways.
Fonzi was a presence in the house and a presence anywhere he went. Most people he encountered described him as a gentle giant. And he was, so gentle. He got to spend summers in Long Beach Island which was his absolute favorite because people were always coming and going and he was always the center of attention. He also loved rubbing his head on the warm green grass in the spring and would come up with grass stains against his stunningly white fur coat. He was the cutest, most handsome guy in the world and pranced through the street on his beloved walks like he was the king. "Regal" is what those who were graced with his presence described him as. If the doorbell rang, he thought that they were there to see him - and he would not leave your side until you gave him - at the very least - a pet on his big head. No matter how excited he got for moms pasta dinners, treats or bacon, he took it from your hand so gently with his little front teeth and would prance on to his bed and look at it for a few seconds then make sure you were looking at him and if he could talk would say "hey, aren't you proud of me?!" just before it was devoured. His absolute favorite was dinner time.. our personal "human" dishwasher.. & no matter how dead of a sleep he was in, as soon as a wrapper or tinfoil would open - he'd be by your side within minutes. He loved everything and anything when it came to food -- except lemons (which was the only time we really ever heard him bark).

We picked him out of all the puppies because of his personality that stood out. He wasn't jumping on all the other puppies or biting our shoe laces, he was just sitting in a corner with the laziest little teddy bear eyes, legs out to the side, and had this "bump" on his forehead that never went away all 12 and a half years of his life. He was so special, and always will be.
The funniest quality the Fonz had was that he never, ever shook the hysterical habit of "suckling" on his soft stuffed animal bone that was the same color and half the size of him, the smellier it got, the more he liked it. If he was ever nervous, or when all 5 of our family members were home and he was content, he would grab his "suckle baby" and go onto his bed in the middle of the family room, close his eyes, and suckle on his baby.

Friday we said goobye to our baby. It was absolutely heart breaking to see our love, who was always so full of life, not be able to stand up anymore and turn his head from his favorite treats and vanilla ice cream. He looked at us with these eyes that said, "I'm sorry that I will be the one leaving you this time." Although he could hardly move and was giving up - he mustered up the energy to give all of us one final kiss on the cheek before we had to put him to sleep. We're so sorry Fonz, we hope you don't think we gave up on you.. we just knew that you couldn't and wouldn't want to live that way baby. Daddy already misses his morning walks with you and the usual routine of him waking up and singing whatever song came to mind that morning to you while he rubbed your legs and you stretched out really big in the hallway. Mommy sleeps with your suckle baby at night and uses it as her comfort pillow just as you did, and your sisters kiss your picture every single morning and night before they go to sleep. Dad tried to get your pawprint out of the snow Saturday morning before it melted, but then we remembered that your pawprints and white fur covers every single inch of our home and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Watch over us babyboy with that big giant head, and we all cannot wait to see you again at the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for the best times and memories in our lifetime. Your pawprints are forever in our broken hearts and the love we have for you is eternal... love you forever, rest in peace my man <3
