R.I.P Bunty Beaver Monday 3rd August 1998 - Friday 2nd May 2014 Taken suddenly, now pain free

Nickname: Bunty, Buntisima, Bessie Bunta, Bess

Bunty was a Jack Russel Terrier. She was a lively, spritely dog and always had been right up until her death. She loved all sorts of food and cheese was one of her favourites. She never really went for walks until she was 13 years of age and she always kept in front of the lead, eager to explore and smell everything in site. She mixed very well with other dogs and spent her entire life with Bella who was another Jack Russel which to date, is now 16 and coping quite well with the loss of Bunty.

Bunty was known for her growl which she would use against people when they put their face too close to her or when they went to pick her up. Most people considered this a warning but everyone in Bunty's household knew she was just a moaner and would never bite anyone. :) She loved a good tickle on the tummy and loved to sleep on the bed. Although she didn't like to be left alone in the house with just Bella, this didn't happen often so she was always happy.

She was known by the next door neighbour as most likely a pest! We lost count of the chickens that escaped from their garden that fell into the hands of Bunty. R.I.P to those as well.

Bunty was also known for eating the leftovers of the household. She loved spaghetti bolognase and would like the plates clean when we had finished eating ours. She used to pull her mouth away from the plate and her beard would be covered in the tomato sauce.

When she was tickled enough, sometimes she would sit back on her back two legs and raise her front paws in the air. Everyone in the family always said we should take her to the circus. Thankfully we didn't!

Her and Bella loved to sunbathe and summer was their favourite time of the year! They laid on anything comfy they could find, even if this meant the dirty washing! As long as they were in the sun, they were happy.

When summer was over, winter rolled in and so did Christmas. Boy did the dogs love Christmas, especially Bunty. Seeing all the family round! We always put her in her Christmas dress as well as Bella and Bunty's has "Pampered" written across the back.

Overall, Bunty was one of the best dogs you could ask for. She lived a long, happy, healthy life and did not ever have to go to the vets for anything serious throughout her life. R.I.P Bunty, see you soon. x
