On February 27th, our English Bulldog Linus passed away peacefully on our laps in our home and took the journey to cross rainbow bridge.

We adopted Linus from the Voorhees Animal Orphanage on October 14, 2012. He had a few families before us which we never understood as he was the sweetest and most loving boy we had ever met. His name was originally Lilo, but to us he felt more like a Linus and that he was. He was very sensitive and claimed all of the blankets in our home.

He loved snuggling on our laps, giving big wet kisses, resting his chin on our knees, taking up half of our bed at night, following us all around the house, opening up packages that came in the mail, sitting on benches at parks, sitting at the dinner table with us, sitting on anything flat that you momentarily put on the floor, sleeping while sitting, going for car rides, walks in the woods, going to the beach, sunbathing, ghost crabs, bully sticks, chicken, anything that involved eating, all of his family and friends, but most importantly he unconditionally loved his humans.

Not a day will go by where I don't think about you or hear you or see you. You were our first dog and the best decision we have ever made. You brought so much light and joy into our lives every single day. You changed our lives by making us better people. Our house will no longer a home without you and we will miss looking down and always seeing our best friend standing right by our side looking up at us.

I hope you are running free on the beach with Mitch enjoying all the sun and food and treats and naps your heart desires. Sweet dreams Linus, Linie, Hinie, Little Line, Linus your Highness, Bubz, Bubba Man, Puppy Man, Marshmallow Man, Kitten, Pup-Pup, B-Bop, Baby Boy, Tupperware Puppy, Little Ghost, and so on... 💛
