Nickname: Rose, Baby Girl

Rosie was my baby girl. She meant the world to me. She took care of me when I would cry and always loved me no matter what. I will never forget her little nub of a tail and how cute it was when she wagged it. And those ears, my goodness those ears, she looked like a bat when she was a puppy. When she would shake her body to fluff up her fur it would make her look like a lion. And my all time favorite thing about her was when i would come home and she would prance around at my feet, and i would pick her up and she would just rub her face all over mine, it was like she was hugging me. God i loved her so much. I will miss her forever. My family and I had her for almost 10 years until the May 1st tragedy. My neighbors 4 huge dogs got into our backyard and came into our home where our puppies were supposed to be safe. They took the lives of 2 of my best friends, Rosie and Chloe. My other dog Abby was severely hurt but is still alive. My other dog Katie is my little stud muffin and does not have one scratch on her. Bless their little hearts...

We wish we could have told you,
in words you'd understand,
We wanted you to stay with us.
This wasn't what we'd planned.

How empty we now feel.
