To the dog witht he prettiest smile
It always cracked me up to see him smile. He was a sweet dog and loved his Momma very much. I'm sorry that god had to call you so soon, I guess he was jealous and wanted him all for himself. Now he offically has his wings and will always watch over you.

The Cliffmister
Clifford was an amazing dog, he will always be in our hearts. Clifford defined "The perfect dog" in more ways than one. he was your guardian bre and and he still is. Even though you can't see him, you know he is doing that darn prance up in doggy heaven.
- Love, Jeff and Rikki
If I get to heaven, I'm keeping my eye on you!
Perhaps Cliffy never liked me because he thought that I, as a lawyer, couldn't be trusted? I don't think that was it, but it saddens me to think he'll never get to bite another lawyer's butt, there being no lawyers in heaven. I'm sorry for your loss.

My Grandson
Clifford was a heart stealer. He had the most comical features that I will never forget.
He was there for my daughter during bad times, he stayed beside her until he knew she would be okay without him, and then he knew he could go to the Rainbow Bridge

Clifford, was by far, the world's most perfect dog. He was more like a person than a pet. He had an amazing personality that anyone who met him fell in love with. With his unique look he could captivate a room and in no time he would have everyone loving him with his bright personality. No one could deny his one of a kind look or attitude. He was absolutely amazing. He was just as happy to play with a ball in the yard and plop his 65 pound body on your lap in the evening. He loved all people, old to young, and all animals. He would snuggle with our cats and play with the loose neighbor dog when they came into our yard. He used to do this special little prance when he was super excited. His front feet would come off the ground in a 'high stepper' fashion while he grunted and growled in excitement. The most entertaining and original move that Clifford made was definately his need to be in the recliner with my husband. He would pace back and forth until he would move over just enough so the dog could jump up and lay in his lap. He was indeed a 65 pound lap dog. Every move that he made was comical for us. We loved being a part of his life. He was a shelter mutt that I rescued back in 2003, and I always jokingly told people that he was the best $116.50 I ever spent. He had been abused by his previous owner and had a lot of fear issues relating to men when he first came into my life. Over the years we worked on those issues and in no time flat he realized that I wouldn't let anyone hurt him, and he was safe. Over the years that I was blessed to own him I had some of the most difficult times in my life. He was by my side every step of the way and always saw me through. We will miss so many moments with him, but we were so blessed to have had so many to spend with him. He was such a bright star in my life, I will always miss him but know that now he is in a better place. Free from his pain and discomfort, and able to eat anything he wants without allergies. I look forward to reuniting with him once again in heaven.
