Buffy

Age 17, March 21, 1992 - May 11, 2009

Buffy was my best friend. She listened to me no matter what. I cried with her, laughed with her, and was able to love her with no restrictions. She didn't ask for much, she just loved me back, no matter what.

She went everywhere with me in her early days. Towards the end the old girl couldn't do everything we use to. From winning dress your dog contests to road trips, she was there with me.

She hated being groomed, but put up with it. She was the most affectionate of all my dogs, always greeting people at the door with a smile, yes she smiled, and a lick. She loved everybody.

She had her pillow right next to me when we went to sleep at night. The other dogs knew, that was Buffy's spot, and they respected that. She was the oldest and rules the roost.

There are so many memories, I can't begin t0 name them all! The one that sticks out the most, my daughter was in college and had a roommate that loved horses. I took Buffy to see my daughter and thank God her room mate wasn't there, as Buffy jumped on her room mates bed and smelled the horse scent and promptly left her scent there, too!

Buffy was in college plays with my daughter, she was a local dog star.

Buffy will be remembered and loved, always.
