Kobe was the most amazing dog. While he died young, I could not be more greatful for the time that we had with him. It truly was a blessing. He would make you smile no matter how badly you felt. Whenever I would cry, he would always lick my tears away as if to say "Don't cry mom, everything is going to be alright". He was unwavering in his love for my family and I.

I will miss him taking up the whole bed, even though he only weighed 5 pounds. I will miss him chosing vegetables over steak, him running around the house looking for something to play with b/ most of all I will miss him. I will miss his eyes. His look of complete content and love. I will miss holding him and giving him kisses on his forhead and him returning them immediately. I will just miss him. I was so blessed to have the time that I did with him.

My mom read to me a poem about a "Rainbow Bridge". It made me feel better and I hope it makes others who just lost their beloved pets feel better as well.
