My baby boy....my 120lb baby boy...he is deeply missed around the house. He was the biggest messer and in to everything but no matter what he charmed his way out of it all.
I rescued him and myself from a bad relationship. I already had two rescue dogs and he fit right in...
I made him a promise once I had him that he would never be alone again because his original father and my X kept him locked in a crate for two weeks with no food or water. I took my baby and promised him he would never be left alone again and for the last almost 6yrs he was never alone. He was not alone in death either and he died in my arms.
He was full of energy but calm at the same time...he scanned the counter tops regularly searching for a morsel as if he didn't get enough.
Everything I did was for him...my other two are my babies as well but normal size mix breeds...when Kash came along he needed special food for his allergies, he couldn't just take one heart worm pill he was too big and needed two different ones, we didn't get a doggie door till last year because we could never find one he could fit through and then when we did we couldn't find a door to put it in. He was my alarm clock and I am lost without him...6:30am like clock work to go out and then I could snooze till 8:30am when it was time to eat...same with dinner and bed by 10:30pm whether I wanted to or not. He was very vocal about what he wanted and some days I wanted to remove his voice box but that is what made him Kash...
One of my favorite memories was one night when I lived in Raleigh he wanted to go out and my desk was in a nook at the end of the hall way. Well...Kash wanted to go out and I was at my desk and he kept asking to go and I kept ignoring him so finally I had on a hoodie and I was in my computer chairs on wheels so you can imagine. He grabbed my hood and rolled me by my hood in my chair all the way to the door...and I was laughing so hard I couldn't even yell at him because that is what he did.
If he had a toy and you took it away you better be taller than him because he watched every move you made and would find it and could probably reach it if he wanted to. I don't know how tall he was but I know that I am 5'6" and he could rare up taller than me...my big beautiful baby momma's boy.
He was a momma's boy...he always had to be touching me or laying on me, leaning on me.
If he like you and missed you you always knew because he would nip your butt!
