Here lies the memorial page for one of the most fearless dogs to ever hump a leg.
From the time he was but a year old, Kane was already humping cats, chasing big rigs down 5th avenue, and warning the Bedene's that someone was coming in or out of their house. He had also landed time in a dog clinic for a near fatal illness.
He protected the queen and king of the house daily / nightly and was always ready for a little rough and tumble with the prince or any guest knaves who frequented the castle.
At the age of 2.5 years old, Kane took it upon himself to help out a SWAT team who was dealing with a hostage situation near his home. Kane tracked down the person in command of the SWAT team and barked instructions to him while he was talking the hostage taker down.
Kane got on Redding TV for that one.
Kane enjoyed picking on dogs 3 to 5 times his size and was always ready to run if they decided to get serious. What a smart doggie!
Even though he barked at anyone and everyone who entered his domain, he always found the good in each person and gave them love before they left his presence.
While it seemed to creep up quite suddenly, Kane's final days were spent walking in the park with Mommy, sleeping in with Ken, and Singing with Frank. His last big weekend included a trip to Southern CA. to send Ken off on his musical tour.
Kane was always a strong little badass and didn't go without a fight. Near the end, as part of his little body was trying to give up and the other part was attempting to stay alive; the look in his eyes seemed to say, "It's okay guys, its just time for me to go find another place to protect until we meet again."
Thank you for the love and kissers Kane,
Ken, Jen, and Frankie Bedene, Winter the Cat, and Bubba the Bird.
