. i remember the first time i saw her she was about 6 -8 weeks old she was so small she would always step on her ears . such a cute girl. We got mattie when she was 1, from my friend who could no longer have her because her baby. I couldnt see her go anywhere else but with me.when i got mattie It was around the same time something really bad happened to me and my kids. it was like she was broght to us for a reason to help us throw bad times and she did. she was such a spoiled dog what ever she wanted she got most of the time. oh and how she just loved her rides you would say"mattie wanna go for a ride girl " she be flying thow the house to the door. About two weeks ago it seemed like she was getting sick , not real sick but you could tell, the fallowing week i had to call the vet she was having trouble breathing, she peeed on the floor 4 times .i had her for 10 years she never did that at all. they did blood work and x-rays and found nothing, she had a 103 temp the vet said she might have a bladder infection so they put her on meds a day later she stops compleetly stops eating and just layed on the bed having a harder time breathing like labor breathing. so i call the vets and my husband and I decited to put her down. i coulnt handle seeing her fight to breath anymore. on June 30,2009 at 5:35 pm Mattie went up to heaven .she would have ben having her 11th birthday 4 days later the 4th of July. i miss her everyday and feel so guilty for putting her down because i truly didnt want to, but my heart said i couldnt let her suffer. we got her creamated she should be comming home today.
Mattie mommy and daddy your sister and two brothers miss you so much.i cry everday wishing you were still here missing you so much girl. we love you and will never forget you. Mattie you put paw prints in our hearts forever..
