Nickname: Teddy H. Honeybear

Teddy came to us at 2 months of age. We think he might have been abused by his former owner as he was, and continued to be, very timid and afraid of strangers.

He fell head over heels in love with our other dog, Maggie. He loved to be anywhere Maggie was and was constantly kissing her.

He always wanted to be wherever we were. He would sleep on our bed or follow us into other rooms. He had his own little bedtime routine that he followed without fail.

We knew that Teddy had a severe heart problem, but with medication and excellent vet care, he was able to live almost 4 years after being diagnosed. His death was sudden and completely destroyed us.

I've never know a sweeter and more loving dog. We will never forget him.

7/17/210 - It's been almost a year since we lost Teddy, and not day goes by that we don't think about him and miss him. It's gotten easier, the severe heartache has eased, but the empty spot in our hearts remains. We'll always love and remember him.
