Snickers

Age 9, ~2000 - August 31, 2009

He was a great companion, loyal, playfull, very loving, and always at our side.

Nickname: Snicky's, Sniks, Snickers Baby, Snicker Doodles

Our loving and sadly missed dog Snickers entered god's home on 8/31/09 after becoming suddenly ill. He was our first family dog. Our kids grew up with him and he was my son's best friend. We pampered him and spoiled him unconditionally. How I miss his snoring at night when I didn't like it before and how the house seems so empty without him. He was a great companion. We always used to laugh at how his little tongue always slightly hung out. He was our baby. When he was a pup- we used to carry him in a basket. We also have a 4 year old lab who our Snickers loved to antagonize- but they were best buddies. I miss his bark when we get home and his growl under the kitchen table when he would beg for just a small piece of our supper. He was an excellent brother to our children. He used to like when you would slightly blow in his face- he would bury his face in his paws and shake his head. He also used to love playing tug of war with the corners of our blankets. He was always at our side when we would go from room to room or outside. He had always followed our yellow lab around and they used to always sit at our front window and stare out all the time. Snickers used to like licking us every chance he got. He gave us the best 9 years of his life and for that we are thankful. We will cherish every moment we shared with him and will never forget those precious moments he imprinted in our minds and in our hearts. He will always be in our hearts and dearly missed.

We will always and forever love you Snickers. Choppers isn't the same without you- he misses his big brother- he loved you very much- remember all the times he bathed you or stole your snacks- those were good times for you both. Thank you for always being at our side during happy and sad times. May you rest happy, pain free, and assured we will always love you and that you will always hold a special place dear in our hearts. You were and always will be a special part of our family. We love you Snickers more than words can say. We will agian meet one day and I hope you are there waiting.
