Suka , You were the smartest , funniest , sweetest dog. We will miss you forever!

Nickname: The little guy , little buddie , the good guy

Suka when you were 4 yrs old,you picked us as your new "parents" at the CT humane society.All the other dogs were jumping around and barking and yapping. You sat quietly looking at us. As I moved over to you, you pushed yourself against the cage door so I could scratch your chest.

After I stood up to go the office to ask about you , you sat up and started begging to me. My heart melted in that instant! ( I could hear my husband behind me mutter , " Oh Brother".......) He knew we were done for...you got us :)

You were so matted and really smelt awful but I felt that you were the one...and you were! Found out that the smell was a terrible ear(s) infection and we took care of that..
You hadn't been abused but you had been neglected...and you hungered for attention, which we were more then happy to shower you with.
You blossomed like a wonderful flower. The joy you gave us for 13 yrs can't be measured

We love you and miss you very much. See you at the Rainbow Bridge buddy.

Hi little guy, it been over a month since you left us and I still miss you very much. You always brought a smile to my face and to the faces of anyone you had contact with.
You could be such a silly and just naturally make folks feel happy. You are missed greatly!

It seems the day after Suka passed on, an abandoned little girl was left at the humane society. This 10 lb , 7 yrs old Lapso Apso was in such bad shape she wasn’t ready for adoption right away.
She was ready, the day I went there to find a kitten .
When I saw her she was trembling with fear. I spoke to her softly and she came over .She jumped up on the bench sitting close to me.

I knew that Suka wanted me to help her , the same way I had helped him so many years ago. He sent her to help me from feeling so sad every day.
I still miss him terribly. No one can ever replace him but I find myself smiling again.
She was picked by my “little guy” so we could help each other heal .
Thanks “ little buddy”. I love you and promise to take good care of her
