RUN LITTLE ONE, RUN AND PLAY. AND GRAB A PANSY FOR ME.

Nickname: TEAK

We had Teaki for eleven years and he was the sweetest little dog one could hope for. When he was a puppy he liked to run as fast as he could through the back yard and grab a pansy in his mouth from the pansy bed.

He loved to go on trips with us and the minute he heard the sound of his leash being taken out of the cabinet, he came running. He slept with me every night and I loved to feel his warm little body at my back.

About eight months ago, he was diagnosed with congenital heart failure. He was given aggressive treatment and was doing well for awhile, but then his lungs filled with fluid again and his medicine dosage was increased. But when that no longer was working, there was nothing more to be done. On October 8th when his breathing became labored again, we rushed him to the vet. He was euthanized. We knew it was coming, but still, it seemed so sudden. The loss is unbearable. The house is so quiet. And we are so lonely without him. How can he just be ..........gone????

We are so fortunate to have known this precious little dog who taught us so much about unconditional love.

We will miss him forever.
