On Friday, January 15th, we had to put our beloved dog, Jasper to sleep. We were truly blessed that he lived for 15 years and 7 months. Unfortunately, he just got old. The joy and pleasure that this wonderful pooch brought to our family can never be measured. He will always live on in our hearts. We were truly blessed to have had Jasper as part of our daily lives for so long. I know that your tail is wagging somewhere! We miss you buddy! Love Dad, Mom, Dana, & Jeremy.

Jasper made everyone around him smile. No matter what kind of day you had, when you saw Jasper, your face lit up, as did his, and his tail wagged so much it was like a weapon; tail whip we called it. We believe that Jasper was put on this earth to make us happy. The joy he brought was immeasurable. There is a giant hole in all of our hearts. When we picked him out as a puppy, he was in a pen with all of his siblings. They were all jumping up and down, barking, and waiting to be petted and perhaps selected. There was one puppy that stayed on the ground, in a pose just like in his main picture, being stepped on by all of his brothers and sisters. My wife took one look, and said "we'll take that one." He maintained that disposition for his entire life. He never growled, nor bit anybody, and barely barked. Some watchdog; he was afraid of his own shadow. But he was our "lovable lug." We learned quickly about his appetite. When he was still a young puppy, my wife put her pocketbook down on the floor, along with a whole, unpeeled banana, to answer the phone. When she got back, less than 5 minutes later, the banana was gone, but the peel was totally in tact. He lived to eat. Jasper was our first dog, and looking back, if you had to create the perfect dog, he is what would come off of the drawing board. I could go on and on, as all pet owners who love their pets could. I know he is looking down on us, keeping a constant vigil over his family. Jasper you will always be loved by one and all. We love you...Dad, Mom, Dana, & Jeremy.
