I know you're happy now Beemer with grandpa and Lucky and Jasmine but I sure do miss you by my side.

Nickname: Beemer

Beemer's best friend was our black lab named Lucky. Beemer had a bad ear that was prone to repeated infections and you would always find Lucky cleaning it out for him. When Lucky passed away of old age, Beemer got so depressed he became severely anemic. Special diets, lots of vet bills and a month later, he was back on his feet but diagnosed with degenerative spinal myelopathy at the age of 9 1/2 years old. More vet bills, x-rays and special diets and vitamins, Beemer was determined it wasn't going to get him down and with lots of love and physical therapy he made it a year, much longer than anyone expected until his hips albeit good as the AKC can certify, just gave out. Still very alert and full of love and life, Beemer didn't care if we had to help him around or outside, as long as he could be by my side. Then one day unexpectedly God took it out of our hands and he died very quickly of canine bloat. His last breaths were taken looking deep into my eyes and wagging his tail as I smothered him with kisses and held onto him. I hope I can find your strength Beemer. I miss you by my side all the time. You were the best. I can't wait to see you again some day!
