Baby boy - today is the day you went to be with Jesus, I really miss you - it is so hard!! I still have days that I cry, as I am crying right now. I hope you are doing okay, and drinking plenty of fresh water and good food - and lots and lots of Pig Ears! I hope to see you soon baby, I love you!!!!!!!! Baby mommy loves you and misses you so much

I am thinking about you today and remembering how you used to sit for hours in my lap-- I am eating some steak tidbits w/ gravy and I remember how you used to beg - stick your head under my hand while i am eating and I would get frustrated and push you away - Your begging is now coming to me and how cute it was...... I love you

I really miss you darling. I hope you are having fun on the never ending green grass, chasing balls and playing with your little brother and other friends you have met. I just know you have made a lot of new friends. I really miss you alot, some days I just cry - I know I may be over reacting but you were my child, and everytime I think about it I get so angry at Satan for taking our baby away. But you can sleep now, pain free baby.

I am thinking of you today, baby boy ace. I really miss you!! I just ordered a 12x20 print of you. it is going to be framed and displayed appropriately. I hope you are having fun with your little brother Kirby!!!

Ace was an amazing dog. He was brought home at 6 weeks of age. We always loved him, and knew he was special. One of the things he did to calm himself down, was he would take a large toy and put it on the floor, and put a smaller one on it - and push-paw, like he was getting milk from his mom.. So sweet!!!

He lived a very good, healthy life. He was the vet's favorite - always at the proper weight and nutrition. He would fetch the ball outside for hours on end. He slept in bed with mommy and daddy, and was a family favorite, even friends who did not like dogs liked him.

One day, everything changed. We took him to the vet for his annual checkup, and the vet found a small heart murmur. Nothing to worry about, she said - it was small. So for a few years, we never thought anything of it. Then one cold day in November...

We were playing ball in the house, and Ace started to lay down and just cry. This kept on for about 2 days, off and on - time to go to the vet and get him checked out. Sure enough, the murmur had gotten the best of him... and every inch of walking was painful. So we made the heart-wrenching decision to put him out of his misery.

Four years later, we still cry... I miss you little guy - I love you!
